Happy 70th birthday to Aaron Kyle! Kyle played defensive back for seven seasons in the NFL: 1976 to 1979 with the Dallas Cowboys, and 1980 to 1982 with the Denver Broncos. He started at cornerback for the Cowboys in Super Bowl XII, a win against the Denver Broncos, and in Super Bowl XIII, a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Kyle was a key contributor in the game against the Broncos, intercepting a pass and recovering a fumble.
Today’s card of the day is Kyle’s rookie card, a 1980 Topps. The card pictures him with the Cowboys, but he played for the Broncos in 1980.
