Happy 70th birthday to Scott Perry! Perry played defensive back for the Cincinnati Bengals from 1976 to 1979, and for the San Francisco 49ers and San Diego Chargers in 1980. He played college football for the Williams College Ephs, which I’d never heard of before today. He is the only player from Williams College in the Vintage Football Card Gallery. According to Wikipedia, the Ephs (pronounced “eefs”) are named after the college’s founder, Ephraim Williams.
Today’s card of the day is Perry’s rookie card, a 1979 Topps. He also appeared on a 1980 Topps football card.
