Uncut Sheets of 1959 Topps Football Cards
First Series
The picture below shows the configuration of an uncut 132-card half-sheet of first series 1959 Topps football cards. I modeled it after a picture of a real uncut sheet that appeared in an online auction. If you hold your cursor above a card, your browser should show you the number of the card and the name of the player. Clicking on a card will bring up the full-sized scan.
This sheet was originally half of a 264-card full sheet configured like this 1966 Topps baseball card sheet. You can see on the baseball card sheet that the top eight rows (88 cards) on the left half of the sheet are repeated twice more on the full sheet. On the 132-card half-sheet below, the bottom four rows are the same as the top four rows. On the other 132-card half-sheet, the other four rows would have been repeated.

This is how the half-sheet was numbered. The eleven cards in green (some repeated on the sheet) are the first series cards with the fewest examples graded PSA 9 or PSA 10, according to PSA's population report. You can see that all but one of the eleven was on the edge of either this half-sheet, the other first series half-sheet (below), or both, suggesting that cards on the edges of the sheets tended to get damaged in production.

I have not seen an example of the other half of the first series sheet, but based on what I have seen on other sheets, I am nearly certain that it contained rows 5-8 of the sheet above, then rows 1-4, then rows 5-8 again. Here is what the other half-sheet would have looked like:

I don't know which half-sheet was the left half and which was the right. Perhaps someday a full 264-card full sheet will pop up online.
Second Series
An uncut 132-card half-sheet of second series 1959 Topps football cards (cards with numbers ranging from 89 to 176) appeared in a 2009 Huggins & Scott auction. Below is a virtual version of that uncut sheet.

The following table shows how the cards were arranged by number on the sheet. The cards in green are the ten scarcest in high grade in the second series. Again, you can see that the scarcest cards tended to be on the edge of the sheet.
100 | 109 | 150 | 160 | 130 | 97 | 145 | 165 | 120 | 167 | 110 |
