1966 Norfolk Neptunes Football Cards

The Norfolk Neptunes were a minor league team that played in the Continental Football League from 1965 to 1969, and in the Atlantic Coast Football League from 1970 to 1971. This set of 2 3/4 by 1 3/4-inch, unnumbered, blank-backed cards appears to have been hand-cut from milk cartons. (If anyone knows the brand of milk, I'd like to hear it.) Beckett says the cards are from 1967, but I believe they were from 1966 because all eight of the players were on the team in 1966, but three (namely Groth, Haugsness, and Monack) were no longer on the team in 1967.

Beckett also shows a "Frank Collina" card in the set, but there was no Frank Collina on the team in 1966 or 1967. My guess is that the Beckett folks meant Frank Lollino.
