Uncut Sheets of 1965 Philadelphia Football Cards
The diagrams below show the configuration of the two halves of a full, 264-card sheet of 1965 Philadelphia football cards. There are 198 cards in the 1965 Philadelphia set, so the whole set fit on a 264-card sheet, with 66 cards being duplicated. In the diagrams below, the twelve tan-colored rows represent the duplicated cards, or "double prints." The double prints are not documented in the popular price guides, but I have identified them in the Gallery.
The diagrams below also show, in bold font, the twelve 1965 Philadelphia cards least often graded PSA 8 or better, as of December 2022. All twelve are single prints, and most of them were on the edge of the uncut sheet.
The first diagram is modeled after an actual half-sheet sold by Wheatland Auction Services. The numbering of this half-sheet is identical to the numbering of one of the half-sheets of 1966 Philadelphia football cards. I have seen both halves of an uncut 1966 Philadelphia sheet, and I assume that the second 1965 half-sheet was also identical to its 1966 counterpart. I have also seen numerous panels and miscut cards from the second 1965 half-sheet that back up this assumption. The 1967 Philadelphia sheet also appears to have had the same numbering, with a small exception.
Philadelphia produced football cards from 1964 to 1967, and all four sets contained 198 cards. Having compared sheets, partial sheets, and miscut cards from the four years, I've concluded that the company used the same numbering on the 1965, 1966, and 1967 sheets. Only the 1964 sheets were numbered differently.
First Half-Sheet
This is the configuration of the first half-sheet. I don't know if this was on the left or right side of the full sheet; I would need to see either a full 264-card sheet or a panel spanning the two halves. If you hold your cursor above a card, your browser should show you the number of the card and the name of the player. Clicking on a card will bring up the full-sized scan. (A real uncut sheet would not have black lines between the cards--that is an effect of scanning them individually.)

The following table shows how the cards were arranged by number on the sheet. The bottom six rows hold the 66 double prints in the set. The bottom two rows are repeated on the top of this half-sheet, and the remaining four rows are repeated on the other half-sheet. The cells in green represent single prints.
