Uncut Sheets of 1961 Fleer Football Cards
Second Series
From photos on the internet (here and here), I assembled these virtual uncut sheets of 1961 Fleer second series football cards. The two sheets are each half of a full 264-card sheet, like this sheet of 1966 Topps baseball cards. If you hold your cursor above a card, your browser should show you the number of the card and the name of the player. Clicking on a card will bring up the full-sized scan. (A real uncut sheet would not have lines between the cards--that's an effect of scanning them individually.)
In the 1961 Fleer set, the 88-card second series depicts only AFL players, and the 132-card first series depicts only NFL players. The second series cards are given higher values in the price guides, but in general the second series cards are easier to find in high grade, and they sell for less than first series cards.

The following tables show the numbers of the cards on the second series sheets. The top eight rows of the first sheet hold the entire 88-card second series, and if you put the two sheets together, those eight rows are repeated two more times. Thus each card appeared three times on a full 264-card sheet.

First Series
I have not seen an uncut first series 1961 Fleer football card sheet, but I do have a few Baltimore Colts cards that were crudely hand-cut from a sheet. The image below shows how they fit together. I can't make out the whole sheet from these, but I can guess that the cards were sequentially numbered in 6-card vertical strips, with each strip being numbered from the bottom up. Each 132-card half-sheet of 1961 Fleer cards would have held 22 such strips, or the whole first series. If I find a few cards that are miscut horizontally, I can figure out how the strips were arranged on the sheet. I suspect that they weren't in order, but they probably followed a pattern.

For more virtual uncut sheets, see the Gallery's master uncut sheet page.
