Inside cover of 1960-61 Washington Redskins matchbook 1960-61 Redskins Matchbooks were printed by the Universal Match Corporation of St. Louis and distributed by 1st Federal Savings and Loan of Washington. There are twenty matchbooks in all. According to Beckett, ten of the matchbooks were printed in 1960, and the other ten in 1961. There is one Hall-of-Famer in the group, Turk Edwards. Jim Schrader is the only player to appear both in this set and the 1958-59 set.

Each matchbook has a floating head shot of a player on the outside of the cover, and the player's name and brief biographical information on the inside. The matchbooks call the players "Famous Redskins," which seems a bit overstated for some of them. I suppose they were all famous around Washington.
