Happy 70th birthday to Frank Reed! Reed played defensive back from 1976 to 1980 for the Atlanta Falcons, and in 1983 for the USFL’s Birmingham Stallions. He had six career interceptions and seven career fumble recoveries with the Falcons.
Today’s card of the day is Reed’s 1980 Falcons Police card. It is one of thirty cards in the set–a large number for a police set. Reed also appeared on a 1979 Topps football card–his rookie card–and on a 1973 KFC University of Washington card, which I don’t yet have in the Gallery.
