Happy 70th birthday to Ricky Thompson! Thompson was a wide receiver for seven seasons in the NFL: 1976 to 1977 with the Baltimore Colts, 1978 to 1981 with the Washington Redskins, and 1982 with the St. Louis Cardinals. His most productive season was 1981, when he caught 28 passes for 423 yards for the Redskins.
Before his pro career, Thompson played college football at Baylor. According to Wikipedia, Thompson is now a sideline reporter for the Baylor Radio Network.
