Happy 70th birthday to Steve August! August played offensive tackle for eight seasons in the NFL: from 1977 to 1983 with the Seattle Seahawks, and in 1984 for the Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers. He played college football at the University of Tulsa, and he was Seattle’s first-round pick in the 1977 NFL Draft.
Today’s card of the day is August’s 1979 Seahawks Police card. He also appeared on a few more police cards and in the 1984 Topps regular issue set.
