Happy 80th birthday to Ike Kelley! Kelley played linebacker from 1966 to 1971 for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was also known for his special teams play. There is a nice “Where Are They Now?” article about him on the Eagles team web site.
Before his pro career, Kelley was a two-time All-American at Ohio State. For this accomplishment, he appears on two cards in the 1979 Ohio State Greats 1916-1965 deck, one for his 1964 All-American season, and another for 1965. Today’s card of the day is his 1964 card.
Kelley also appeared on a handful of Eagles team issues and Ohio State tribute cards which I haven’t yet added to the Gallery.
