Happy 80th birthday to Doug Van Horn! Van Horn played guard for the Detroit Lions in 1966, and for the New York Giants from 1968 to 1979. Sadly, though he had a long NFL career, he never played on a playoff team.
Van Horn played college football at Ohio State. He was named an All-American in 1965.
