Craig Clemons is celebrating his 75th birthday today. Clemons played defensive back for the Chicago Bears from 1972 to 1977. After starring at the University of Iowa, he was the Bears’ first-round pick (twelfth overall) in the 1972 NFL Draft. He collected nine career interceptions and seven career fumble recoveries for the Bears.
Today’s card of the day is Clemons’s rookie card, a 1974 Topps. He also appeared on a 1977 Topps card, and on two variations of 1976 Bears Coke Discs. You can see them all in the Gallery.
