Don Webb, who played defensive back for the Boston/New England Patriots from 1961 to 1971, passed away on July 25. He was 85. Webb had 21 career interceptions and five fumble recoveries, and he was named an American Football League All-Star in 1969.
Webb played college football at Iowa State. He was a member of the 1959 Cyclones team, nicknamed the “Dirty Thirty.”
