1979 Coke Saints Football Cards

There are 45 cards in the 1979 Coke Saints set, one for nearly every player on the team. The photos on the cards are the nicest I have seen in any set. The backs of the cards contain basic biographical information about the players. On the bottom of each card back is a Topps copyright, so apparently Topps printed them for Coke.

Dick Nolan was the head coach of the Saints in 1979. He did not have a card in this set, but he had appeared on three cards as a player. Nolan's Saints finished 8-8 in 1979.
