1975 Fleer Immortal Roll Football Cards

1975 Fleer Immortal Roll cards, also known as 1975 Fleer Hall of Fame cards, were inserts in packs of 1975 Fleer Football Patches. There are 84 cards in the set: one for each member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame as of 1975, except Jim Brown. (I don't know why Brown was excluded.) Fifty of the Hall of Famers had appeared in the 1974 Fleer Immortal Roll set, and for those subjects Fleer used the same images in 1975. The 1974 and 1975 cards are similar but easily distinguishable: the 1974 cards have a white border, and the 1975 cards have a brown border. For the subjects who appeared in both sets, the backs of the 1974 and 1975 cards are identical, except that the 1975 cards are numbered.

As with the 1974 set, the best feature of the 1975 Immortal Roll set is that it includes some NFL pioneers who had not appeared on cards before. Joe Guyon, Link Lyman, George Trafton, and Ed Healey are a few examples. After this set was issued, every Hall of Famer appeared on at least one card.
