1972 O-Pee-Chee CFL Football Cards

There are 132 cards in the 1972 O-Pee-Chee CFL football card set: 13 players from each of the 9 CFL teams, 14 "Pro Action" cards, and a checklist. The cards closely resemble 1972 Topps NFL football cards.

The 1972 O-Pee-Chee cards are plain, and the images of many of the players are dark, especially on the Pro Action cards. The cards also tend to have centering problems. On the plus side, two of the top Heisman Trophy candidates of 1971, Johnny Musso and Eric Allen, appear in the set. Their cards filled a couple of holes on my page of cards of Heisman candidates.
