1948 Kelloggs Pep Football Cards

1948 Kellogg's Pep cards are a sport and entertainment card that was in distributed in boxes of Kellogg's Pep cereal. There are 42 cards in the set, and five of them are football cards. One of the football cards has a variation: some instances of Charley Trippi's card have his image reversed, and some have it corrected.

The Lou Groza card in this set is a pre-rookie card. Groza's generally accepted rookie card is a 1950 Bowman. For other pre-rookie cards, see my pre-rookie card page. Also see my blog for more details about the 1948 Kellogg's Pep cards.
